Turning Things Around: REDBLACKS hoping for more in 2021

CFL.ca presents ‘Off-Season Depth Chart’, a series of articles reviewing every team’s depth chart as it stands to date. Note that these are not official team-issued depth charts, but projections based on insight and analysis from around the league.

This is a companion discussion topic for the original entry at https://www.cfl.ca/2021/06/17/turning-things-around-redblacks-hoping-2021/

LaPolice & Benevides are a good team. Benevides tends to be a break, not bend DC judging from his time in Edmonton. They have some good pieces on offence like Harris, Sinopoli & Nichols but not enough IMO. Losing Johnson & Lauzin-Seguin hurts & Saunders retirement leaves them thin there. On defence they look good @ DT but too many soft spots. They were a 3 win team that won their 1st 2 in 2019 when you can surprise teams. They needed to make some serious changes to their player personnel. The ST's, though, are very good. I don't see adding NIchols & LaPolice is going to result in any miracles here. They probably have the worst schedule to boot. Definite dark horse.
