Labour of love those Labour Day Games in the CFL. So what did it sort out - let's see from the eyes of this old turkey: :cowboy:
-
Calgary Stampeders- Looking like the team to beat in the CFL. Two running backs who are capable of inside and outside gains. A stellar receiving corps, veteran qb and a tough defence. Has Henry finished seeing a shrink and cured his duo personality (good and bad qb.) ailment. If so at worst the western final seems certain. Nice reward to face the Esks again on Friday!!
-
Saskatchewan Roughriders- move up over the Als not so much due to their win over Winterpeg but because the Als are hopeless without A.C. The Riders win but still have lots of question marks and will need to play hard and have some luck each game as none are a given.
-
Hamilton Tiger-Cats- As long as A.C. is out and since they beat the Argos again - I put the Ti-cats here with veteran Glenn at the helm.
-
Montreal Als- dropping faster than Tiger Woods pants.
:?
-
Toronto Argos- Cleo is pooping out. The defence cannot do it all as predicted.
-
B.C. Lions- Big win that was handed to them on a silver platter. Printers still looks shaky but give the Leos credit for the win on the road against rookie quarterbacks. Still the jury is out on the Leos. :?
-
Winterpeg- valiant effort against the Riders but Buck is gone again. They actually look somewhat promising.
-
Edmonton- City of has beens- sad, sad, sad offensive line and receivers. Not Ray's fault. How can they rebound in four days.            Ritchie Hall's facial expressions tell it all during games
