I think we need to revisit this thread
after saturdays game so we can see
the effect of obie's changes on this
team.

Being a Rider fan, I've spent many years watching lousy teams. There have always been a multitude of reasons. But, when Shivers and Barrett showed up, the team's attitude and effort changed. Instead of being blown out all the time, they started to lose close games. Then the next year, they started to win some more of the close ones.
Now the team is an excellent TEAM. Foundation was laid by bringing in players and attitudes that made us competitive. Lots of popular guys were dumped and new favorites emerged.
I see a Hamilton team low on confidence but sticking close in most games. I would expect to see more of the same the rest of this year along with a couple more wins. And I actually expect them to beat Edmonton. Why? Because the defense will want to show it was more than just Moreno.
Looking from an outsider's view, your team is waaaayyyyyyy better this year than last.
(Oh, and by the way, think back to how many of you wanted Bauman run out of town because "he sucked" last year. Good thing a lot of you are not coaches).
