Young won't allow fans to setup some kind of community radio show from the media booth?
I think it might be that TSN holds both TV and radio rights to CFL football. If true, it would not be Bob Young's call.

That's true... They didn't realize when they signed their life away with TSN what they were giving up for the few extra bucks.
Riders(CKRM) , Bombers(CJOB), CGY (CHQR770) are not TSN (as far as I know)
LIONS and Ticats both lost their TSN radio coverage
Over 50% of the League is not covered by TSN radio

Please post any updates that you have regarding training camp. I will be especially following the LB's this year. Not easy to get Ti-Cat information readily here in Regina.
It was reported a couple months ago ( I can't find the link) that the Ticats will have their own in house radio broadcast solution from their website and social media. I don't know if it will also be available on regular radio.

You still need a device with internet connectivity to listen to the games. Kinda sucks if you don't have an unlimited wireless/internet account, because streaming takes up LOT of data.
I wonder if the League approached Sirius/XM for satellite radio coverage? The other leagues have stations...

It will only matter to me if I'm driving in my car during a Cats game, and I plan to be in front of my TV or at the stadium for every game. I wonder what the ratings were for CFL games on TSN1150 Radio anyways?

I know SiriusXM channel 167 (Canada Talks) played every game the last couple years - it was just a tap in to the local TSN station that had the game - my parents live deep in the country and didn’t have internet, but we’re able to listen to the games on 167 - if it was the last game of the day, they would also carry the postgame show, otherwise they went right to the next broadcast
