So maybe one more run for each of them, and if not signed, they make the return trip to the CFL? The CFL is certainly a better deal for a football player than is the UFL, most especially at the level of competition.

I was not sure where to put this post other than to overload the NFL thread, but there’s even an NFL practice squad tracker for the more than 1100 players cut on Tuesday. Less than 3% of players cut are claimed on waivers after the final cuts, but as noted below, every one of those players claimed is in turn replaced by another cut player!
