…the difference with running backs is that they anticipate getting hit, and it is usually at a moderate velocity, whereas receivers are often hit blindside at high velocity…my vote goes to a receiver, and there are a bunch…clermont for sure, I’d throw stegall, tucker and cahoon in there for good measure as they have all been taking those hits for many years…

I have say Nik Lewis everybody loves stick it to him and he keeps getting up. I think really any receiver could be picked.

• who takes the most punishment
• who dishes out the most (clean) punishment.

Clermont for sure. You see that hit he took to the side of the head in the Calgary game? He just shook it off like nothing.

If your talking ‘tough’ as in I wouldn’t wanna fight him tough, I’d say Rob Murphy.

I would bet on Murph in a hot dog eating contest only!

....to prove everyones point about hard-nosed tough...last games for both teams...Claremont looked like he was dragged by a truck...and kept on tickin....Roberts also got lifted five feet off the ground...dumped on his head...shook it off and ran the next play....talk about tough guys...those two are true grit....(sorry stole that true grit part from an ol John Wayne movie)... :rockin:

How Roberts can take the beating that he does game in and game out and rarely miss a play, let alone a game is a mystery. He should have been a boxer, he'd never get ko'd.
