The Huckleberry Chuckle - Nick Arbuckle picks apart the Redblacks Defense. Can only hope for Good Vibrations - The Beach Boys.

Well, I have had a really rough week. It started with us preparing to move to Scotland this September so my girlfriend could start vet school, and ended with us pulling the plug on the whole thing. On our 10-year anniversary, no less! We will prevail.
I’ve got Ottawa picked in the pool, but I could really use a win for the Double Blue tonight. Looking forward to chatting with everyone!
Oh wow. Hope things work out. I’m sure they will.
I was in the Chicago Pride Parade today and the first group I saw was advertising tourism to Ottawa.
I’m taking it as a sign!
Wow. All the best to you and your girlfriend. I had an odd week for entirely different reasons, and well, maybe there’s something in the damn water of late.
June, my favourite month of the year and this year a good one but a strange one here, is mercifully almost over.
Thank you for sharing with us, and maybe story time another time if it is the right time of course.
May you also be able to get back to Wendy’s and YouTube video production and avoid more of the crap that is buns too, of course. Plus there is also practicing your kicking and snap the football.
Wow, I’m really feeling ready for a game tonight, so that’s good timing for once in over a week!
Good start so far. Looks like the panel is properly spaced out tonight.
Things will work out. Funding was the big problem. Total cost was going to be around 350-400K for tuition alone. Banks would only give us 140K. That’s the max they’ll lend for international students. We wouldn’t have a safe way to bridge that gap.
Lots of tough conversations but at least we aren’t backing down because it’s too scary, just because it’s the wise thing to do. It would be very immature and stupid to put ourselves into so much debt for a degree.
She’ll apply to Guelph next school year (12K a year for tuition is pennies compared to Scotland) and if that doesn’t work out she’ll become a vet tech or get her master’s for research.
We’ll figure it out. Just has to be done the right way

Pirate Sports Network also asail, but it’s a slow and easy sail tonight.
Any celebratory brawls have been banned by Captain Timbers, for everybody is still beat up from overdoing it on Thursday night for Winnipeg, including even Pirate Cat and Private Stubbles still ambling around and grumpy.
Wow was that a ton to consider on the financial front on top of all the personal and logistical factors.
FWIW I learned a long time ago to never make a decision when you are down, for it will almost always be a wrong decision.
And no certain bad decision is worth making rather than to do nothing and delay before making an informed and better decision, whether it works out or not (with the exception in certain tactical military or other true life or death situations, in which doing nothing is the wrong decision by default).
Alright, on with the game.
BetweenTheGoalPosts - That would have been a HUGE financial burden. I always feel that things happen for a reason. I’m sure that you’ll find the best plan for you.
And of course I refuse to cheer for the boatmen, so even though it doesn’t help my Ticats, I’m cheering for Ticats East - UM OTTRBs to win which would give me a perfect week of picks.
Move to Saskstoon … great vet program here at U of Sask
I just realized if you included tbe two previous ottawa cfl team they combined for a total of 10 grey cups
If crum continues his great play I can see teams in need for a qb trying to get him.
No confidence in your team? I picked them to get off the schneid this week.
Well you with the Al’s there are smart to have your designs on him, but I doubt you will get him this season.
I am not as high on Arbuckle as I used to be
I am just waiting for Davis to get healthy.
Dude has already shown the ability of being a top tier qb.
He hasn’t lost a game yet.
Still I think Arbuckle > Crum.
Both > MBT.
He had one good game and just dipped afterwards.
True, but he was much better last week. I must have missed Crum’s good game.
Wow I am really impressed with how Darkangelo plays. Great job keeping up with Crum and forcing the punt
