oh boo hoo. it was actually pretty awesome. as if any normal human being is thinking “bat it down if it comes to me” in the heat of the moment. most players can’t even get that through their heads on a hail mary pass. besides, he probably thought he had a chance to return it past the original line of scrimmage anyway. would much rather seem him take a chance on that than just knock it down.
