Toronto Grey Cup Celebration Turnout

Agree, Bombers win in bunches then go to sleep for awhile. Kinda like a Rip Van Bombers syndrome.

And it is hard to become fully dominant again. They of course weren’t as dominant as their generational team last year, but they were still pretty dominant at 15-3 with one garbage game loss.

The Bombers were the best team in the league last year but didn’t execute in several areas in the GC game. Maybe their six starters out on D finally caught up to them? Maybe Zach’s ankle affected his performance? As has been said many times, anyone can win or lose one game.

It’s just too bad that the Argos didn’t earn their way onto the GC and we’ll never know if they would have won if they had to do so. Let’s just hope that for the good of the league this leads to improvement in their franchise and attendance going forward and that the modest number of fans coming out of the woodwork to celebrate their victory don’t return to the woodwork, not to be seen again for another five years. There is an opportunity to strengthen their franchise and their presence in the Toronto market and I sincerely hope that happens.
