Top of the Depth Chart: Montreal Alouettes

Where does the time go? It seems like it was just yesterday that the Hamilton Tiger-Cats were poaching as many Toronto Argonauts defensive linemen as they could.

Good article but no mention of Lemon on the D-Line ? I betcha they forgot about him . :innocent:

The intel on the defensive side of the ball is solid – I didn’t know LeBlanc, for example, played with Sankey in the UFL. I also appreciate the frequent callbacks to the playoffs.

That said, the writer completely misses Tevin Jones and Reggie White Jr. at receiver, who are miles ahead of Cibasu and Fervius. The latter are little more than Canadian depth bodies who may even be supplanted by our 2024 draft receivers as the season wears on.

Yes, big omissions @ receiver. For the record, with Kelly out @ least 9 games, I see the Als as the team to beat in the East @ this time. Still have to see how the opening rosters shake out on all the teams before we can come up with better predictions. I have little faith in either the TiCats or REDBLACKS to be honest.

Agreed on Toronto. I would have put the Argos as the division frontrunners before Kelly was suspended. Now I think it’s a toss-up between the Argos and the Als.

Hamilton and Ottawa will be competitive but there are too many questions at QB and Milanovich is attempting to remake the offensive side of Hamilton’s roster, which might take a half-season to produce results. We don’t know if Condell will be able to get the most out of Dru Brown, who is fairly unproven.

But of course, the game isn’t played on paper. Looking forward to the start of the season!

The person who wrote this also forgot that Als signed mcmaster football alumni Jacob Mason till 2026 so there is more then one Fullback on the team . I said something about that on Twitter including linking the article about his and 2 other draft picks being signed for 3 years . Clearly the tsn reporter didn’t fact check .
