TORONTO — OK Tire Labour Day Weekend never disappoints in offering plenty of juicy football matchups.
There are Labour Day games but to make us wait 2 extra days without CFL football is unbearable - no games on Thursday an’ Friday this week!
It’s Torture!
I’m a long time CFL fan who was an Argo subscriber at the CNE for 20 years, now living in the U.S. I watch the games on laptop at CFL+ and on TV on CBS Sports. I’ve got a major beef with CBS. They cut coverage of the Winnipeg-Hamilton game with 5 minutes left and went to highlights of women’s basketball. I missed an exciting finish. A couple of games earlier they ended coverage of a an Edmonton game with two minutes left. They also start some games late, waiting for the end of a women’s soccer game or women’s basketball game. If CBS is going to cover the CFL they should show some respect to the league and their viewers who are tuning in. Otherwise why carry the games. Also, there have been games scheduled on CFL+ but when I tune in the message says: “Not available in your area.” C’mon CFL, what’s going on here. Get on this will you and will you open a channel at the CFL office where fans can comment and express concerns. I tried and there is nothing. This is not acceptable if you really care about your fans. Do something, please.
Ajou Ajou, Emilus_ dynamic?. Only player that’s Dynamic is Tyrell Ford.
I don’t really think it’s a CFL issue but a CBSSN issue
BalmyBeacher,
I believe if the game is broadcast on CBS in the US then it will not be available on CFL+. Only games not otherwise available in the US will be on CFL+. As far as CBS cutting the game short, that’s bullshit and sucks but I don’t think the CFL can do anything about it.
The only way to cut the CBSSN BS is to use a VPN and choose another country
