TORONTO — The West Division could undergo a lot of changes in the off-season.
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers once again finished at the top of the division in 2024 despite a slow start to the season. The team will now have to navigate an off-season in which some of its key players could potentially become free agents.
Look for a very desperate oday to open the bank vault in regina to sign qb Tre Ford thus ridding himself of of very “OLD” harris and his big baloated player contract.
I remember the dayz when Mr. Kent Austin, Mr. Roy Shivers, Mr. Chris Jones had the regina rough riders operating in a real professional football league organization mode from A to Z. Nowadays those same rough riders are struggling to be relevant on a day to day basis. Mr. Austin, Mr. Shivers, Mr. Jones were the best thing that ever happened to that cfl franchise. Nowadays the team is run on nepotism, out of control nearing 200 employees and they still can’t get right. Oh well, regina, little hamet on the prairie remains 4ever a perpetual losing venture, they will never correct themselves.
Black Friday & Cyber Monday flight discounts, the “best” flight deals are now over and the CFL abandoned the fans of the 5 of the 9 teams in Western Canada who would like to support their CFL Team by flying to their away games, because the CFL a did NOT release the 2025 Schedule in time for fans to book affordable trips. With CFL Head Office “BAD MANAGEMENT” like this, expect attendance to drop 2025. CFL Ownership Groups get READY to dig deep into your pockets to cover your 2025 Losses.
Glad to see players like Schoen, Bighill and Streveler NOT make the BB’s list of top free agents. Bighill for obvious reasons, Streveler is actually not a QB, and Schoen’s money could be utilized so much more effectively…Like uniting the Ford brothers in Winnipeg.
The top 3 for the Stamps are not the ones I would say are the top. Sean McEewen, Dedrick Mills , and Tommy Stevens would be my picks. Jalen Philpot was not as good as his brother Tyson and injured too much since being drafted by Dickenson.
During his exit interview Paredes said he wanted to play another year. Since he is on the Fire Dept I would think he meant another year in Calgary. I can not see Dickenson letting him leave Calgary yet for another team, but then I have seen others leave I didn’t think would go.
