Roger Goodell is a man of his word. He says there is no expansion talk and won't be for the next decade, there won't be. Sure, when he is asked "is it possible Toronto will ever get an NFL franchise?" of course he will say yes, because anything is possible, and he is pleasing all the fat cats in the center of the universe. He understands and respects what we have up here, and is doing all he can to give Canadians a taste of NFL football without affecting the CFL season. Since the games are played in December, they will not affect Argo and Tiger-Cat attendances. And also, since you can only get tickets by being an Argo/Ti-cat season ticket holder, it will not take away from the teams revenue, since you already payed for your argo/ti-cat season tickets. The sponsors, no big deal either. Don't buy your coffins yet, and stand by your CFL. Roger Goodell is a good man.
Agreed! The problem certain posters on here with the doomsday attitude is they have to understand you have to wet the appetite of all football fans. There probably is many in the TO area that would never go to an Argo game. What your going to make them go. Well with this plan basically it does. I wonder if the NFL really wanted to crush the CFL they could have done it years ago. Yet they bail the league out during a tough time and now in good faith they are doing the same thin. Heck I think the NFL could do wonders in marketing the football game of the north do you not think.
