Ladies and gentlemen, unless we are above 55 (and so clearly remember the great teams of the 50’s and 60’s) we have a city of fans who can’t remember what winning look or feels or sounds like. I’m amazed that my son remains a fan but perhaps the two early Lancaster years were enough to create a bond.

I’m ready for a new era.

As bad as the 76-2008 era has been there were a few great years in there. 86, 89, 92, 98 and 99 come to mind.

Don't forget the Grey Cup years of 80, 84 and 85!

True. We sure did make it to the cup a lot in the 80's.

5 cups and 1 win in ten years. I would take that in a heart beat.

Yes, a couple good years that just sprang out of the muck but didn't really sustain a change to the team's fortunes.

Russ gives the Bruno years to us:

1983 1-2-1 / 1-1
1984 6-9-1 / 2-1
1985 8-8 / 1-1
1986 9-8-1 / 2-1 -- GC
1987 6-6* / 0-1
1988 9-9 / 0-1
1989 12-5-1 / 1-1
1990 4-8

And Gregory:
1991 3-7
1992 11-7 / 1-1
1993 6-12 / 1-1
1994 1-5

And Lancaster:
1998 12-5-1 / 1-1
1999 11-7 / 3-0 -- GC
2000 9-9** / 0-1
2001 11-7 / 1-1
2002 7-11
2003 1-17
2006 4- 10

Ron's early spurt gave us 4 years during which we could feel good.
