Okay Timeout please.
I must have misunderstood the rules here or something.
I do not understand how you can take the "a" from Kashama and get either Printers or Lumsden.....
I also do not understand how you can take the "n" from Eakin and get Winfield................
Have the rules changed or am I missing something??
mess up but lets keep it going........................

I believe Joe Hagins suffered the same injury as another Ticat, Milam Wall a SB/RB here in '61 and '62.
In both instances the injury caused permanent damage to a nerve in the shoulder resulting in total or near-total loss of function in the arm.
1. Sure would like to see both in a "Whatever happened to...." segment on this site.
(Milam Wall came from the University of North Carolina Tarheels, the team that also gave us another Ticat legend, QB Junior Edge)
2. Perhaps a thread on CFL players who played on the same University team at the same time, but ended up on different CFL teams???
The rest of the story on Joe Hagins is embedded
in an archived thread on this very website.
He remained here after his football career ended and he is or
was recently a coach with the Steel City Ironmen, I believe.
