Tiger-Cats vs. Blue Bombers: June 12, 2008
This is it. Tiger-Cats gameday is here once again. We have been waiting for several months for this day to come, and it is finally here. And so also finally here, as per gameday tradition, is the first play-by-play game thread to appear here in a long time. The play-by-play game thread, where we post about and discuss the game as it is happening, is one that I for one have wanted to see here for a long time. And even though this is only a preseason game, we have an actual game to discuss as it happens, where individual performances may matter more than the final score. And now, enough with this preamble, time to try to get this thread off to a good start.

And so that first preseason game is finally here. This is the game where players on each team look to make an impression and could make or break some players' chances of making the team. And we will see if these new players that have been brought in can do well in a game situation. Who will be the players who we will be commenting on? Who will be considered players we will want on the roster, and who will be expected to be cut after this? We will find out as this season is finally on its way.
On a personal note, I would like to say that I am not sure if I should be considered the official game thread starter this year. I might not always be able to start these threads, and if anyone would like to get a chance to start these threads, that would be fine with me. But this thread is here, and regardless of who starts these threads, it will be good to have them again.
And now to say the two words that I have been waiting several months to say. And those words are...
