The Tiger-Cats regular season home opener is finally here today, and so the first game thread for it is here. The first regular season game thread to have fewer posts with many of the usual posters too busy being at IWS supporting the team is here for the Ticat fans who can’t make it to IWS. As the game happens, posts will be made here by the latter kind of fans. And we’ll hopefully have good news to post about the team, especially after last week’s game and considering the who this week’s opponents are.
WHAT – The 2007 home opener for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
WHO - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and that blue team.
WHY – To see the Ticats in their home opener hopefully get the rest of their season off to a good start, and hopefully keep the blue team winless.
WHERE - Ivor Wynne Stadium in Hamilton, Ontario
WHEN - Saturday, July 7th 2007, at 7:00 p.m. EDT
HOW - Radio: CHML (900 kHz AM) is broadcasting Hamilton, or The Fan 590 (590 kHz AM) broadcasting from the “centre of the universe.?

The blue team's depth chart is currently not available, but you can click here for past blue team’s depth charts, and this week's depth chart when it becomes available.
Click here for tonight's weather forecast. Right now, there is a 0% probability of precipitation this evening and winds of 5 km/h are expected. And at this time, it is expected that the temperature will be about 28 degrees Celsius.
After getting defeated by one of the league’s best teams last week, the Ticats return home and look to improve. They look to rebound and get this year’s home games off to a good start, and what better team to do that against than the blue team?
Go Ticats!
