For the second time this year, Tiger-Cats (regular season) gameday is here. And with this being gameday, it is time for the play-by-play game thread for discussion of the game as it happens to be posted here. I will once again get this thread started, so no one here needs to worry about covering for me this time. So here we go.

WHAT – Tiger-Cats Gameday: Tiger-Cats vs. Blue Team.

WHO - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats and that blue team.

WHY – To see if the Ticats can get a win against the blue team, in their house, in a meaningful game, and to see if they can avoid starting out 0-2 again. (It has been too long since any of those things happened.)

WHERE - The stadium formerly known as the SkyDome, also known as the blue team's house, in Toronto, Ontario. (I would also accept referring to that place where the blue team plays as "Mister Rogers' Neighbourhood" and that is as close as I will get to referring to it by its "official" name.)

WHEN - Thursday, July 3rd, at 7:00 p.m. EDT.

HOW - Radio: CHML (900 kHz AM) and Y108 (107.9 MHz FM) broadcasting from Hamilton.

Television: TSN.

Internet: Visit www.900chml.com and click the "listen live" link, or simply click here to listen to CHML now.
Or visit www.y108.ca and click the "listen live" link there, or simply click here to listen to Y108 now.

Click here for tonight's weather forecast. Right now, there is a 10% probability of precipitation this evening and north winds of 15 km/h are expected. And at this time, it is expected that the temperature is expected to be about 13°C. So the dome might be open, as "those wusses from Toronto" who like their comfort might find the weather good enough for them this time.

The last game the Ticats played was one that brought back some memories that we would have preferred to not have brought back. But are the Ticats actually as bad as they seemed, or was it simply a bad game? We would like to see this team at its best, and the Ticats will be up against a team that should bring out the best in them. A win tonight could go a long way in making the fans believe in this team. Even a moral victory might be acceptable, as... oh, what am I saying? This team must beat this blue team, and so I say...

Go Ticats!

You're a rock, BYF!

I suspect the roof will be closed tonight. Football in a dome is wrong.

Great job BYF!

Nice work BYF
I'll Read the thread when Get back from the Dome..

Great job as usual, BYF.

Here's hoping this game doesn't make me want to jump off the roof.

If they play badly again I may join you in that jump.

I will be happy as long as they play hard and give it their all. Even if they lose..

Me too. I just can't watch another game like last week. That was the MOST painful game I can ever remember watching. So many "almosts" and way too many penalties.

We need to win and it has to start now

Go Cats

I dont think i have ever wanted Hamilton to beat the ARGOS any more than i do tonight !!!!

Not only do I want them to beat them to shut up the ARGO players who are being very very cocky and not to just shut Stubler up and the Toronto media who have all but handed the game to the ARGOS in a romp .

No, i think the main reason is the people i know at work and people i run into who know that i am a die hard Ticat fan .

They seem so happy to run the Ticats down and anyone who is a fan . I have been telling them that the last game they played may be the worst game they play all season .

So i`m asking for the guys to play thier hearts out tonight . Make the impossible catches , the big sacks on second and long and to tackle with 2 hands and around the legs not around the arms . Hit hard , cover punts and maybe play above your heads !!!!

kickoff in 2.5 hours!@#

Well Said Habman  ...

And I might add, considering that I gave up a pair of tickets to this game...I'll be more than pleased to get "jabbed" about it if the Ticats can pull this one off and I missed being there!

I'll be rooting for them from my living room!

Good Luck guys and thanks for the great lead-in BYF! :rockin:

Blue team sucks. Had to be said.

The key to this entire game will be the play of the defensive line and whether they can put pressure on Joseph/Bishop. Right now with a DT starting at DE and McKay being a game time decision, I'm not so sure about it, leaving both Toronto QB's to scramble/tear apart the Cats D.

What DT is starting at DE exactly? I didn't notice that.

Terrance Patrick. Listed as a DT for Calgary, but is a #1 DE on the depth chart (unless I'm mistaken) for Hamilton.

Either way, he's a big boy!

He is listed at 260 which is the same weight as NML. The difference is that he is 3" taller. I think he will be fine. He was with Calgary mostly as a starter for 3 seasons and after being a late cut by them i’m sure he has all the motivation he needs to have a good showing tonight and looking forward.

35 min till kickoff!@#

Keith, Rempel, NML and one other are scratches for tonight (CHML reported)

Keith AND NML? 2 new ends? scary.....
