The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced the following transactions today:
Released IMP WR Ed Berry
Signed IMP WR Amarri Jackson
The Cats, and some of the other teams, are doing quite a job of moving injured guys in and out and using the days in-between to get a look at other players. Montreal in particular, and as usual, leads the pack in stretching the rules to the limit. CFl Transactions shows them regularly, during this year's camp, also "suspending" and "retiring" players to keep them from being picked up by other teams.
Good to see AJacks back, was very curious to see how this player fares.
That is quite simply known and referred to as: ‘Good Rules Management’.
The only diference between us and montreal is we didn't hide Jackson, any team was free to snatch him up if they felt the urge, same thing with Fish who I'm sure will be called back at some time.
