As per tradition, I will start the play-by-play thread for the opening game.
All the drama in the off-season and pre-season is now put to the test in a very difficult game to start the year.
I will be interested in seeing of we actually utilize the running game, if Seth Small is in game form, and how the O-line protects BLM. There have been a LOT of changes from last year, and I hope the players don’t take long to “gel”.
I’m hoping the Cats can establish a running game early. See if this improved O-Line has the push to do it. The Bombers Front 7 will be as good a test as it gets.
I’m not sure I’d say concerned - just in “game mode”!
I’ll agree with all of the other above posts though! Looking forward to seeing how this team meets tonight’s challenge. I am cautiously optimistic that they can win. At the very least, I think they will keep it very close.
I’m just crossing my fingers that I’ve been wrong about BLM all these years. In the past, I’ve always thought he only seemed good because of the great o-line he had in front of him in Calgary. Here’s hoping that either I’m wrong, or our o-line steps it up this year.
