Good trade. He's better than anything we have in the interior of the defensive line right now. Doesn't sound like we gave up very much.
Now THAT'S what I'm talking about! Davis is a big run stuffing & pocket collapsing DT! Takes some penalties here & there. Sometimes a little exuberant & urn disciplined. But some nice jam for the middle of our defensive line!
Believe it or not, I think we need someone who isn't afraid to be exuberant and at times take an unnecessary penalty. We're missing that fire.
Agree 100% J02! TiCats got a big ol Gator up front to go with their Buckeye! Rose & Davis may be exactly what this team needed. If either one can attract double teams it'll allow the other or other's a chance to get freed up.
Hope he considers this his second chance as it looks like Calgary was tired of his inconsistent play thus traded him for practice footballs and a kicking tee.
A few off field issues back in Gainsville but that goes with the territory @ UF!
Again, hope he considers this another & possibly last chance & plays inspired football & stays out of trouble.
Interesting write up here. http://highschool.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1238192
Hope Davis fares better than Mitch Mustain did with Hamilton.
I wonder what those future considerations are. If he's that good, I can't imagine Hufnagel would give him up for a song.
Maybe we can flip them back Tisdale. Wait...Hugnagel didn't fall off the turnip truck.
Sounds good. He should fit right in with the Ti-cats then.
Now ship Giggy off for a NI Olinesman.
C'mon spinner we can't give up on giggy yet, we're not even close to using him properly.
Let him develop for at least a season.
Future Considerations. In other words a HJ.
Welcome aboard Davis. Grab a bucket and start bailing.
Future considerations, that means we likely gave up a draft pick or bargaining rights to someone.
So who does he replace? McElveen?
Take your pick. None of them are keepers.
Pat Lynch(the old guy)
I hope this is just the start of the changes to the D.

Sounds like Hufnagle tired of the old “personality and character issues” deal. Perhaps the 'Cats feel that Davis can turn it around in a new situation because we don’t have any reports of major issues from his time with the Stamps other than a lack of discipline in some on-field situations.
Sometimes these trades pay off big and other times the problems follow the player. Time will tell if this is one of those situations.
So our DL could end up as Davis, Davis, Rose and Peach :rockin:
