Ticats sign new receiver...

Welcome to Hamilton, Brandon. I hope things work out well for you here and you have a long and successful career as a Tiger-Cat.

If he continues as a returner and averages 22 yards per carry over 2 years...I'm happy!

Beats the heck out of "dance around for a few seconds and falls backward for 0 yards"

Sounds like a decent signing. I want to see what this guy can do.

I think McDaniel will start on Friday, after reading what Bellefeuille said about him here: http://scratchingpost.thespec.com/2009/ … story.html

If Rodriguez can’t play, then I understand that Currie will take his place. That’s what has been happening at practice according to this: http://scratchingpost.thespec.com/2009/ … ice-2.html

And it’ll be good to have Middleton on returns. I’d like Caulley to be back so that we’ll have more options as to who’ll be used on returns. But at least McDaniel has some competition now.

The “signing reaction” can be viewed on Ticats TV here: http://www.ticats.ca/video/index/id/8681. 22 seconds into it, as Obie is talking about the Davis release we see that FD celebration from Davis. I won’t miss seeing that.

Hey!! Don’t knock that Commander Pike of Star Trek cart. I bet that baby is hard to knock over, could be very maneuverable too.

I can see it now – Billy “Three Lights” Johnson on the return. LMAO

Oski Wee Wee,

Russ

Are you guys serious? Do you honestly think that a backup WR had anything to do with the winless record?

Nah - a Dalek could take him…

In the movie Forrest Gump, it was even simpler than that…ie: obtain football and run forward…as fast as you can. (not towards the sidelines however)

…mowing down the marching band, security staff etc. after running out of grass field to run on is optional.

Exterminate!

8) When you look at the whole picture involving Import players in the CFL, they have all pretty well,
been released by NFL teams (or Arena League).

That is why they are playing up here in the CFL !!

It doesn't really matter what team they played for, or how bad that respective team was, it's just

the old story of being in the right place at the right time, and what that teams needs were at that

  said time.

I don't care where this guy played or what he has done in the past. I trust Obie understands " Better is Better " and this guy can help us out considering Davis - wait for it..................... dropped the ball.

Not only was Davis inconsistent, he could only really catch easy throws or screen passes and he was never much help in the return game. From the sounds of thing’s, Middleton if both a good receiver and returner and i’m sure Obie scouted him well. We shall see.
