Ticats sign former Stamp WR

From Drew Edwards' blog:

"#Ticats sign former #CalStampders WR Blaine Kruger (#CFL)

The Ticats have signed non-import wide receiver Blaine Kruger. The six-foot-four, 210 pound Kruger played three games for the Stamps last season after signing as a free agent and was Canada West all-star in his last year at UBC.

Though he has yet to catch a CFL pass, Kruger provides some size and depth for the Cats behind Dave Stala and Matt Carter after they lost Chris Bauman to free agency (they also recently added Canadian WR Rory Kohlert to the roster.)

It may also allow them to focus on needs along the offensive and defensive line come draft day.

No word on an official announcement."

The nightmare on Balsam ave.
pretty big N/I, best of luck to him cracking the roster

Never heard of him, but welcome to the Hammer lol. Sounds promising.

A Bauman-sized target without the Bauman sized contract.

More competition for Mc Kay - Carter - Nicholson and that new kid signed last week. A Bauman sized NI and hopefully the type of kid who can stay focused and catch the ball when it it thrown to him. Better is Better

Nicholson isn’t even on our roster right now, he’s a Free Agent.
