Jacob Patek, a safety who last played for Hawai'i in the 2008 Sugar Bowl
has signed a 2 year contract and will try out with us as an outside linebacker.
It was reported several weeks ago by Drew Edwards that the Cats had given Patek a contract offer, but that nothing official was signed. Until the Cats announce this signing, don't believe it.
I hope he's not related to a certain person's man-crush Andy Petek...
The article you link to is from Apr. 8 and he Cats have not announced anything yet. That tells me nothing is in writing yet.
