TiCats roster moves for @ TOR

Turns out you were not the original source of that photo, so no apology necessary. The original poster has been properly flogged.

I actually thought the photo of Hall in the tight shirt was far more insightful.

Uh-uh bobo…1 Canadian and 1 American have to sit out and they will be Rice and Figueroa.

Woodson ‘I don’t always run angry but when I do its against the Arhols!’

Use the world’s most interesting man’s voice when reading that sentence above. Lol

Right you are Pope  bobo’s math skills are sorely lacking as I counted 1 to many imports on the depth chart. Rice and Figueroa are definitely the 2 obvious choices as game day scratches.

Labour Day 4 carries - 1 yards its a performance thing sadly

Hi all, was the big RB on the practice roster cut I don't see his name anywhere. :?

Hey with Ryan Bomben as our new Tight End for the TD recently, I thought Coach Austin might be bringing Brian Hall in at QB to fill in for Zach on plays, certainly be hard to stop on the run once he got going??

GO CATS GO!!!

8) I imagine you are referring to Ronnie Wingo.
Yes, he was released from the practice yesterday, according to CFL transactions !!

I wouldn’t be too sure. Austin really does not have much patience. He gave up on him after only 3 carries. He did do a good job blocking and had a screen pass of 9 yards.

Not sure why he get’s a bad wrap as a catcher? He had good numbers receiving last year. Everybody drops a pass on occasion…I seem to recall Holley dropping a few this year.

I’m really disappointed that he’s is not dressing. I actually thought Austin might cut him after last game(3 carries for -1 yards). After only 3 carries, you give up on your starting running back?

But Austin decided to go with Holley the rest of the game. He did have good numbers(80+ yards), aided by a 40 yard carry. If you take away that he only had about 40+ yards. What if he had given up on Holley after only 3 carries?

i thought he gave up early on the Great Grigsby as well. Holley only had 9 rushes but he made the most of it.

What concerns me about our running game is we don’t execute plays very well. A great majority of our offensive running plays blow up due to poor execution and just not very crisp looking plays. Grigsby is good in space and on sweeps or toss plays that is where he is most effective. Running between the tackles with our O-line is not his forte. I do think the biggest reason why Grigsby doesn’t play regularly is his pass blocking. There were two or three plays early in the Labour day game where Collaros either rushed his throw or hit and each one Grigsby was either slow to pick up or did not read the right man to block.

Holley is a better between the tackles runner even with our O-line who I believe are not the best run blockers, and that is not a knock on their skill more a reflection of what they practice the most and utilize the most. Holley is a much better blocker than Grigsby and I think that edge is what has him playing more.

If Holley could run like Grigsby in the flat i’m sure we would all be happy. If Grigsby could block like Holley i’m sure Austin would be happy.

If Gable wasn’t injured I KNOW everybody would be happy.
