Austin takes a guy that played LB for 5 years of university ball, makes him a “fullback” and cuts him when he can’t learn how to read a blitz and throw a block in 3 days that are only a couple hours long.
I hope someone picks this kid up. He deserves a better chance than what Hamilton has offered.
I think his main duties would have been ST. Ever think he graded out a little worse than another in that department? Or FB is on their radar for the draft?
Not too many swings and misses on guys Austin has let go over his time with the Cats.
Our existing FB, C.O. Prime was drafted 19th overall in 2013 as a LB and the TiCats converted him to FB.
I would say that has worked out very well for both the Team and Player.
