Every time the Cats draft a native of Quebec, I have a concern that he'll be hoping to get to Montreal when his rookie contract expires. So, I'm pleased to learn of the these contract extensions and hope the fact that Primé and Girard want to remain TiCats will have some influence on the other members of the team's "French connection" who could be F.A.'s in February -- Laurent, Gascon-Nadon and Plesius.

I find that what you are stating here, although true, that many Canadians like to be as close to home as possible. Players from western Canada and elsewhere are not too unlike those from Quebec.
