Ticats locked in on defence, take down Riders on the road

SASKATCHEWAN – The Hamilton Tiger-Cats may have already clinched their playoff spot, but they still wanted to show what they have to prove.

As a long time Rider fan (long enough to have watched Mr. Reed play when he arrived in Sask), I don’t think I have ever been more disgusted with this team as I am tonight. On a night when you are honoring the legacy of one of the greatest ever to play in the CFL, as well as honoring the 2013 Grey Cup champs (a team with far more heart than this one has), to play as poorly as they did is an embarrassment. All I can say is, I hope the Stamps go on a run and knock the Riders out of the playoffs, because this version of the Riders does not deserve to play in the post-season.

Nuckingfutz - I have to agree. It’s an embarrassment for the Rider Nation who support this team so deeply, and Mr Reed celebration.
The one time the team should really dig in.
Dolagala looks like he is really trying and a few others but not the group. Seems like they spend more time thinking up stupid end zone schemes and chest thumping than they do football. Stop with the nonsense and get in there and play ball.
The Riders record should be reversed with the talent they have. The fans deserve better.

I am a Tiger Cat fan and happy as H that they won and played so well. The Cats are hitting their stride at the right time - Mitchell looks like he is ready to go and with good backup QBs. Watch out CFL fans, an upset is in th emaking!
