I believe Tim got a BIG buck$ boo$t for '23, and I don’t think he enjoyed the season. So, I expect he’ll see what offers free agency brings in February before, hopefully, re-signing here.

I will lean the other way on the Tim White FA.
I think Tim likes Hamilton and unless the WR obsessed GM in Edmonton wants to massively overpay for another WR he will resign and sell some tickets in short order.

Despite having 3 starting quarterbacks and a switch of OC mid-season, he still led the league in receiving. My guess is he will be back in Hamilton as we will pay him 225 -250k to stay.

Updated with the Kemp and Szott signings. Perhaps @ottawacat can speak to why Szott wasn’t listed on any FA lists for the team?
Szott finished the season on the P.R., from which all players are released as free agents the day following a team’s final game.
At the time of the E.S.F., the TiCats had 12 P.R. players – Burke, Coleman. Crawford, Gnahoua, Mulumba, Sartor, Szott, Tuggle, Vereen, Wilcots, Woods and Zerr. To date, four have been re-signed – Burke, Coleman, Sartor & Szott.
Had Szott been on the active roster, when the team’s season ended, he wouild have been on the pending free agent list.

Hope it’s a teaser to some of the players being announced soon.
The team can use 2023 unused Cap space for 2024 signing bonuses. So many some of Bo’s 6 game stints will help the team.

Interesting indeed . One would think that the team wouldn’t be going through the trouble of putting out these videos if the intention isn’t already known about these players re-signing and reupping for the 2024 season .

The team is way more active at this point compared to what we saw last year. We seemed to be in a holding pattern back then until Bo signed.

I would like to see Saxelid back.

I don’t think there’s any correlation whatsoever between these videos and any potential signings. My guess is that they didn’t lay off the social media guy/gal for the off season so they’re simply being productive and trying to maintain some level of off season social media fan engagement with the videos.
I’d love to believe that this means Thurman is about to re-up, but I can’t imagine that’s what this video is really about.

I’m leaning towards the same thing. Showing highlights of the previous year to drum up some merchandise and ticket sales for '24.
Though I don’t think we’re going to see a Duke Williams, or Chris Edwards highlight video…
Just curious but why would you like to see a guy who has barely seen the field since he got here back again ? He has spent more time in the tub than in uniform since 2022 missing 26 games out of a possible 36 since he came over from Edmonton .
