The 25-year-old from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania died Saturday night, his agents said in a statement on Facebook. The cause of death is currently unknown.
Robinson, who played his college football at Temple, was signed by the Ticats as a free agent on April 27 and participated in the team’s mini-camp last month. He was expected to attend training camp at the end of May.
He leaves behind a young daughter, Avery Marie.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Robinson family at this time,? Hamilton head coach Kent Austin said in a statement.
For anyone wondering about Deanjo's post, the link he included was, for awhile, to a Daily News report stating that Robinson was killed in a shooting. That was, obviously, somehow reported in error and that link has been updated to the corrected Daily News link posted by Blogskee Wee Wee. At one point the Toronto Sun website also reported the shooting story.
Thanks for posting the link challenger99. The article helps us to know, just a tiny bit, who Adrian was. Unfortunately, we won’t get the opportunity to know him better but it sounds like he might have been a good back up for Hickman or Norwood. Sadly we will never know.
Condolences to the family, friends and former team mates as they deal with this tragic death.
