Drew says Jiminez is a healthy scratch due to a 42-10 victory last game. Wouldn’t that mean he made the trip, thus not home to spend a family day with the Mrs?
I always thought the full 46-man roster made the trip, even if they know they’re one of the four reserves. Seems odd that he wouldn’t be there, although there are three backup OLs on the 46 with Rogers as a late addition.
What are the odds he’s still with the team next year? Seems less likely every week.
The title of this thread needs to be changed to TICATS DEATH CHART.... they are playing like they are dead today!
[quote="gerbear9"]1. Does anyone know what the plan is now for Jiminez and whether he will play anymore this year .
My guess is he will be released, because he costs money and we need to save money for all the help OB is going to bring in with the NFL cuts...
Jimenez is a free agent at the end of this season. You can pretty well be sure he won't be back in Hamilton next year.
Hi Mightypope:
And I'm sure that on their way out of town on moving day, his wife will have a parting tweet for the team's management.
Hamilton travels with the 42 players they expect to play. The only exception could be if there is a game time decision based on injury.
They have only dressed 6 o-line all year, and never dressed an extra import tackle. The thinking is that Wayne Smith can play all the positions, albeit temporarily if it is a tackle that goes down. That is also why you see Hickman at tight end on short yardage.
