Not much in changes
I wonder what happened with Langa?
Surprised by underwood starting this week. Though Coach would've sent a message.
You can't drop those passes in the pro leagues
Sooo is this going to be the game day thread
Who do we have that's both better and healthy?
If it wasn't for Luke and Andy our pass attack would be thin indeed.

This is what worries me. We really don't have a consistent, bone fide deep threat. Owens, Banks and Underwood are all capable of the big play, but not at the same level as a Carter, Green, or Stafford. We may be lucky that two of them are missing, but Montreal always seems able to find replacements. Defence needs to be sharp.
I have a little more confidence after reading Masoli's stats, assuming that we don't cough up the ball on turnovers. And Tasker and Fantuz did crank up some impressive yardage. Keys might be execution, STs, and maybe the running game, stopping theirs and getting ours going?
Stafford isn't a huge loss for us TBH. Green being out is really tough. And I'd say that Banks is as good a big-play player as anyone in the CFL. Should be tough but entertaining game!
Here's the Dirty Birds depth chart for tonight's game. Douchebag#89 playing but no Glenn, no Green,no Stafford and no Sutton.

Don't know Louks, but if he backs up Lewis, he can't be too bad. Cunningham is likewise a mystery. Giguere was all speed, no hands in Hamilton, don't know if moving to Montreal has helped him much?
Regardless of his personality, Carter is a flat-out game changer. Speed to burn, good hands, height, weight. Gets under the opposition skin and chafes. Love him or hate him, he is the complete package. When, or maybe if, he gets some maturity and learns to control his behaviour, he is NFL bound. Maybe a case of being too good, too soon and letting it go to his head. Can see the love/hate look on Popp every time he runs by.

He's a rookie being activated from the PR because of all our receiver injuries. He showed well in camp, but of course, we all know that there's a big difference between camp and a real football game. I think he'll do fine as the designated international / 5th receiver but one never knows.

Giguere ... hasn't changed since Hamilton. He's great on comebacks or any other route where he can turn and catch the ball in his numbers, but lousy at making contested catches in traffic. He is what he is: a serviceable national receiver who'll catch a few balls per game on the field side just to keep the D honest.

Kind of how I feel about Kent Austin: I don't like the guy one bit, but there's no denying his ability as a coach.
