I guess he was one of the reasons why Maas wasn't throwing downfield vs. Calgary. (i.e. Maas can't go vertical if Alston doesn't get open).

One would think that this opens up a starting receiver position for Thyron Anderson or Chris Bauman in Hamilton.

if you are going to bring a player from the injured list back early you have to release a player at least that was the rule before this season so if they're going to activate anderson they would have to release a player to make room for him

They had a lot of import receivers. (Curry, Areceneaux, Walker, Alston, Anderson, Dickerson's sort of a receiver, Gardner on the PR)
