Ticats claim overtime victory after late comeback against BC

VANCOUVER – Coming into Friday night, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats had won three straight games. The BC Lions tried to stop them from getting a fourth, but the Ticats came back from down double digits and claimed the 32-29 victory in overtime at BC Place.

Riders are going to pass B.C. tomorrow in spite of the point the command center screwed us out of in Ottawa.

this team never improved the o line or d line its been 4 years no high caliber linebackers or dbs just weak talent and some of the coaches and old players the same outcome would been the same with VA . they can’t win the line of scrimage on either side of the ball…

BC needs to start VA next game. Those two “two and outs” in the fourth quarter cost BC that game. Just one decent series would have run out the clock on the Ticats.

Rourke is a keeper and so is his brother :heartbeat: :canada: :+1:

It’s coaching. BC’s receivers are not getting open. You can put in VA but the result won’t be any different. In fact, it will most likely be worse - VA takes more time than Rourke. The O-line has been deficient since Reilly’s days and it’s failing the team now more than ever. Campbell, Bates, Maksymic have lost the plot, lacking imagination and inspiration, turning a team of talented players into a team of under achievers. By all means, start VA next game. But it won’t fix what’s ailing an uninspired, predictable team, lacking motivation and finesse. It all comes down to coaching.

After the initial scamper for a TD, Rourke should have spiked himself again for good luck  .

Hello CFL Comment Command Centre - where’s my comment that I posted a couple of hours ago? I received a response from a reader claiming it was attached to the Philpot article - how did that happen? And why isn;t it here where I posted it? Thanks.

The Cats are playing inspiring football helping to produce thrilling games for CFL fans. At the right time, the Cats have sloughed off their former selves and now have their cosmic wheels.

Even with a few good wins by the Cats I wasn’t buying the “they’re back” line. After the win in BC, I am now. Boy can they turn it on.

The Cats played a great 2nd half and I hope they can now make it a full game - but they are inspiring for sure! What did bother me was the announcer (Suitor I think) went on and on over the pass interference call in OT. To me, it wasn’t even questionable - the moment it happened I was expecting a flag and was really surprised when it didn’t appear. I saw the grabbing of the collar at the time it happened - slow motion made it absolutely obvious and yet this so-called “unbiased” announcer tried all his might to convince the audience that BC had been unfairly treated. I think the CFL need to have a talk with him. Nonetheless,it was a great win for the Cats - Oskee-Wee-Wee!

Suitor is a Sask Sycophant who also hates the Tiger - Cats , especially Simoni Lawrence . There are many articulate former CFL players who could do a much better job than A GAP B GAP

Suits being Suits… The guy was an average CFL player and knows less than he pretends to. And oh yeah… loves the Green and White, oozes bias against The East and Hates on the Cats at every opportunity. Other that that he is OK
