Was wondering if anyone can tell me if this is open to the public, if so what time are they on the field at!

IIRC, last year it was closed too the public. Not sure about this year thouogh.

Hey guys

Mini-camp practices will take place from Wednesday-Friday at Ivor Wynne Stadium, from approximately 10:30am-1:00pm.

Fans are welcome to observe from Box B.

The Ticats mini-camp starts on Wednesday - all sessions are open to the public, scheduled to take place at Ivor Wynne (weather permitting) and run from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. - but I'm guessing the Ticats may announce a few more new players before then.

Was great seeing all the guys today, excellent day, the new coaches seem intense1 working the boys hard! Great day all around!

Football is back... EXCITEMENT LEVEL THROUGH THE ROOF

It didnt really hit me until I watched the interviews but...we have Henry Burris and Any Fantuz now, playing in Black and Gold. How can someone NOT be excited for our Offence this season!

For anyone that missed today's practice, good news.Casey Creehan seems to be the real deal as a DC.You can hear this guy throughout the stadium with no microphone and man does he ever preach aggressive and perfect football.On the first few DB vs. WR reps, the secondary and LB's were doing what they did last year and missing tackles and lazily cleaning up the mess.Once Creehan started digging in play after play, after the catch the WR would turn up the field into no less than 5 guys in his facing waiting to make the tackle.Also, even when the ball was flat out dropped, even if out of bounds, he made every defender chase the ball, pick it up and try to return it.#43 had what I believe to be the only INT of the day and it was on Henry Burris of all people.When working with the DL, Creehan really had them working hard and efficiently.This could be a very fine year defensively if nothing else, GO CATS GO! :cowboy:

Completely agreed, Casey's voice was as loud as if he were right beside me and I too was intrigued by him making the DBs chase the ball every time. He kept calling out "Get the ball" with aggression in his voice and I believe near the end he said "now that's how you practice! None of this walking around bull****!" :slight_smile: He seemed very passionate and vocal and I got the impression that under his aggressive coaching he was doing it in a way the players respected.

Also, just before I got off the king bus there was a man who got on the bus near the stadium wearing a Detroit lions jacket and had long shaggy hair, looked like he just walked out of the gutter… it made me wonder :lol:
