Ti-Cats to live stream tonight's preseason game

And since Jim is such a huge fan  here's a fairly recent article about life after football for Porter.

Ottawa scored 10 pts. WOW.

If TSN isn't doing a live broadcast of the game will any of the other Teams stream their pre season games?

Argos and Bombers at Varsity will be streamed tonight…perhaps time for a thread on this one

Toronto Argonauts
? ?@TorontoArgos
THIS JUST IN! Tomorrow’s preseason game vs WPG will be streamed live on TSN.ca! You can also listen to the game on @TSN1050Radio! #OURteam

We watched last night’s game, will we be able to watch tonight’s stream, if so what is the web site. Thanks.

Still looking for a site now but there should be a link on the TSN's main site closer to game time. That's my plan!

Thank you.

Is there gonna be a stream of tonight's game? :cowboy:

TSN.ca will have it…perhasp TSNGo will as well, but same dif really if the main site has it.

Go to their CFL section home at gametime and it will likely be the main article…same as when they normally stream

Oh, and Kudos to the Cats for pushing this. Their management team is always impressive IMO...whether it be taking out adds to give kudos to other teams, some of the unique web based adverts over the past several years, pushing for Andy’s world record…they always seem to be on the leading edge for a lot of things throughout the league.

Cool, thanks.

Do the TSN feeds work in The States?

If not, ESPN3?

That feed was awesome. No lag, just repeated a few seconds once in a while. Did not miss anything.

ESPN 3 (Pre Season) CFL games will be June 12 BC/Calgary, June 13 Sas/Edmonton, June 18 Toronto/Montreal.

ESPN 2 (Regular Season) CFL games on June 25, June 26, two games June 27.

No, you would need to use a less legitimate method of watching such as

http://www.stream2watch.com/live-tv/ca/tsn-live-stream or any other such site, or you could simply use a VPN

Not that I would condone such actions, just saying it is possible.

Agreed - great coverage. I almost forgot that I was streaming, having hooked up my laptop to my big screen TV. I also found the commentary to be better than usual, even though it was the usual suspects. That may be the difference between TV commentary, where the announcers can assume the viewer can see what's happening on the field, and radio commentary, where the announcers have to describe the play as it unfolds. Not nearly as much talk about the players' famous relatives. Even mention of the various ex-Ticats was kept to a minimum.

Fascinating, thanks.

What are the best VPNs?

there are a few good ones...cyberghost is one of the more reputable ones.
the biggest issue will be if you want to have a Canadian IP you may need to do a paid VPN. There may be ones for free that offer a Canadian IP...I am just not aware / familiar with em

If the feed is otherwise unavailable in your area I don’t have a real problem with these sites. They are live stream only and you get commercials and all.

But you don’t need a Canadian IP to access one of them “unoffical” sites like the one listed above.
A Canadian IP is only good if you subscribe to TSN through your cable/sattelite provider. If you are traveling outside Canada and you want to watch TSN GO then you need a Canadian IP. I don’t subscribe to TSN and I couldn’t watch the Argo/Bombers game the other night.

Some numbers the Ti-Cats tweeted regarding their live stream the other night. I guess Ti-Cats fans are everywhere.

- 288% growth in web traffic compared to '14 preseason game. - 51% viewed live stream on mobile device. - Watched in 56 countries worldwide.
