St. Paul's graduate signs with Seahawks
By THE CANADIAN PRESS
No Canadians had their names called at this weekend's NFL draft , but three had their names on contracts shortly after it ended.
St. Paul's Crusaders grad Donovan Alexander, a 6-foot-1, 181-pound cornerback out of North Dakota came to terms with the Seattle Seahawks.
That's bad news for the CFL's Montreal Alouettes, who selected Alexander in the third round of last year's Canadian college draft.
Also signing free agent deals were University of Sherbrooke receiver Sam Giguere and University of Central Florida defensive tackle Keith Shologan.
