I love this

"I love the city and the atmosphere of the town," he [Nick] says.

....and he says he's going to turn into an enthusiastic lobbyist
in an effort to convince other players to join him in black and gold.

And he's going to make a huge push to
integrate more players into the community.

Starting with him.

...His hope is to get more involved in charity work and
to encourage new players to become more tied to the city,

figuring that, if they're emotionally involved in the place,
they'll fight harder on the field to represent it.

and this
Before signing with the Cats, he also wanted some assurances from the braintrust that things were heading in the right direction.

No ink was meeting paper until he heard what
he was looking for about the team's future.

Several in-depth discussions did that.

As Scott Radley says

this move creates a hint of optimism that maybe -- maybe -- things are about to start getting better around here.

Things like this really excite me!!!!! I can't wait till training camp opens in 5 months!!!

I really like Scott Radley as a "scribe" ... it would be nice to see him as the Spec's regular "beat" reporter for the Cats.

Kenny Peters act is starting to wear thin.
