I dont think you can talk to players if they are still under contract. Thats why BC gave us permission. Did they give Calgary permission too?

My vote is Elijah Thurmon will be cut, had a pretty bad season, dropped passes he should have caught, but jeez, Isnt this illegal? i think the CFL should put in place a rule that states A single team cannot sign/trade for every talented reciever in the league. Nik Lewis/Copeland & now Thelwell.
They have some more talent in the reciever postion then the whole Eastern Conference put together.
I’d be more worried about Marc Boerigter then Thelwell or Copeland!

Contrary to Wednesday's circulating rumours,
Calgary has not yet signed Ryan Thelwell.
The Stamps are believed to be offering
a contract worth more than $100,000.
But no deal has been reached.
Assuming that Thelwel is signed by the Stamps you are looking at one nasty offence with Boerigter, Lewis, Copeland and Renyolds.
Hank must still be smiling 
The signing of Thelwell will not force Calgary to drop an import receiver, or non-import Ralph.
They just got a whole lot stronger.
