No, not to stay, and so far not for a few games next year...
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are roaring into Waterloo.
The Canadian Football League team will hold a practice at Warrior Field in Waterloo on Aug. 28 from 10 a.m. to noon.
The practice is open to the public and is free. Players will be available to sign autographs after the practice. There also will be inflatable games, cheerleaders, and ticket and merchandise sales.
The event in Waterloo is part of the team’s “regionalization? strategy to build fan support, said Bert Faibish, communications co-ordinator with the Tiger-Cats.
Earlier this season, the team held practices in St. Catharines and Burlington.
The Tiger-Cats have a 3-4 record this season. They play the Alouettes in Montreal on Thursday night.
Still easier for me to go to Hamilton than Waterloo....
