The THF concourse culture is bad for TV

The problem is the Friday night 7pm games. Too hectic, too much traffic to make game on time. Hopefully we will get a better schedule next year.

Never have and never will understand that. Even as a kid with my Dad - unless a rout - we stayed to the very end of games and were rewarded with a few thrilling last minute plays because of that. it just has never made sense to leave early and potentially miss the most critical and exciting part of the game.

Most of those people leaving early are not the hardcore fans. They were probably given the tickets by some promotion or by a season seat holder who couldn’t attend. Don’t expect theses people to sit through the cold driving rain of a fall Ticat game or to discuss Collaros’ QB proficiency around the water cooler.They are there so they can take a selfie at THF so they can later post it on facebook and receive many Likes from their adoring friends.

However, I don’t mind them there at all because they help to fill the teams coffers. As long as they’re helping to keep the Ticats afloat by buying food and beer at THF, then they are alright with me.
