I thought I made a mistake once.
The saying “happy wife means happy life” was coined by a women.
Live by the credo “You only have one life you can always get another wife”
today I forgot something, I think
That must really impress all the old gals at your retirement home.
naah, they be only interested in the one pill I don’t take.
Wife wont let me move there anyhow, sigh.
I joke of course, my wife is the best there has ever been and I couldn’t live a day without her.
There is a small town I pass through in northern Ontario on my way to fishing trips. The general store in that town has a sign outside indicating the proprietors to be “Tom Stewart and wife”.
I congratulate ol’ Tom on his foresight. He can get divorced and remarried as many times as he wants, and he’ll never have to pay any money to get his sign changed.
Stream of consciousness. . . who is Canada’s greatest military hero? Almost every small town in the country has a place named after him! General Store! Ably assisted no doubt by his second-in-command, Major Intersection.
First woman character I ever saw kick men’s butts with martial arts was the character Emma Peel played by Diana Rigg in the 1965-68 show called the Avengers. British show having nothing to do with superheroes of comic books.
Apparently she was on Game of Thrones for 18 episodes. Never watched the show so I missed her.
That which cannot be remedied mustbe endured.
