The one that got away.......why?????

This has been the best game of the year for a consistent performance by the defence.
But what the heck is going on with the offence? Richie Williams came up with a very creditable performance considering he has never started before...and this game could have been won.
Why did Armstead not know he should have given up a single? Why was almost every first down a running play? And then when the ball carrier gets nailed for no gain we do the same thing on second down...with the same result....2 and out.
Why was there no game winning field goal attempt at the end of the game instead of a huge thrid down gamble that failed.
And then there were the stupid, insane penalties. These are all coaching problems that have plagued this team since the beginning of the season.
On the positive side the team played hard and never gave up.
Things are getting better but questions still remain for me about the play calling and penalties that come from a lack of discipline.

Exactly, and if these 2 things are not corrected completely by the end of this season, there is a good chance they will repeat themselves next year as well !!!!!

Way out of FG range.

Why we lost?

Quarterbacking and and a dumb play by Armstead.

Four reasons:

Jason Armstead Nick Setta

Couldn’t agree more!!! The only thing I would like to add is why do we not have Nate Curry back there on returns???

Why? ......

  1. Field goal off the uprights
  2. Armstead attempting a futile runback
  3. Refs overturning a dropped interception when the official that called it had by far the best view available
  4. Very predictable play calling on first down and again on second down (very little play action)
  5. Lumsden getting hurt and taking away a big weapon
  6. THE COIN TOSS DETERMINED THE OUTCOME BEFORE KICKOFF (as hinted to by coach Berry during his brief halftime interview on CBC) - WIND

look over the replay
arms under the ball had control
you are just looking for a way out.
why you say.
come on now the game could have been differnt if your ticats played it smarter, the bombers handed them a gift a few times that the tabbies droped.
better luck next year.

No replay had a better angle than the ref standing five feet away directly in line with the ball. His view was the only one that saw the ball without obstruction from Bolden’s body.

The refs blew it… plain and simple. They can’t even follow the CFL replay guidelines.
The play stands unless there is indisputable evidence on the replay to overturn the call - of which there was NONE.

People have to stop complaining about the ref's.

Even if it wasnt an interception, you would have gave up the saftey, then if im right, you would have had to kick into the wind....yeah, probably would have turned into a bomber TD anyway.
