The Geek vs Football

Hey Ti-Cat Fans,
I got a couple of buddies who think if you like football, you would never be into Star Wars / Star Trek.

I don't think that's the case.
What do you guys think?

Do I still count as a star wars fan if i only liked the older ones. I hate the new ones.

My hubby and I are both fans of both Star Wars and Star Trek. We’re also big CFL and NFL fans.

StarTrekYouBet  :rockin:

Voyager and Original are in my top 10 tv series of all time for the last 40+ yrs.

I watched most of TNG although I could have lived without it. Did not care much for deep space nine

Just saw the 6 SW movies this yr. They ok, but not as good as TREK.

2,4&6 were great trek movies. I did like the TNG movies as well. Better than SW.

Live long and prosper, baby!

Not a fan of Jar Jar eh? Me either.

You forgot about Stargate. It is starting to become as popular but I’m a trekkie.

The NCC1701 on my desktop here at the store (no bloody B, C or D) and the aftermath/carnage of destroyed ships following the Federation vs the Borg at Wolf 359 at home.

“I hope you like Guinness, I find it a refreshing substitute to… food.”

“What now?”
“Now we die.”
“Well that’s a bad plan.”

“As the lady said, let’s take a moment… Okay, moment’s over, let’s go save the galaxy.”

Anybody see The Boy's Own Jedi Handbook? It's a live theatrical presentation. You'd enjoy it if you spent your formative years in the late 70s, early 80s.

"Of the four major 'Star' franchises--Trek, Wars, Gate, and Search--Gate is easily my third favorite."
