Then teams that win it will never see their names written on the trophy as unlike the Stanley Cup, you can’t just remove a rung off of the trophy and add more names to it.
They talked about redesigning the trophy a few seasons back as it was constantly breaking during celebrations due to the fact that the original trophy was not designed to carry the weight from the bottom part like it does today.
