The 1999 Hamilton Tiger-Cats

Watching the montage of 1999 highlights on Friday, something struck me once again. There is essentially one play - a ballsy, low-percentage third down throw to a linebacker - separating us from a 33-year Grey Cup drought.

And of course, going back to 1986, a borderline miraculous comeback from a 26-point deficit saved us from another ring-less decade.

I want to make a GC run where our wins do not come down to mini-miracles.

And opponents needed drama to beat us in most of our post season losses.
Dramatic wins are good for the memory book but plain, efficient , maybe even boring and forgettable and drama-free post season success wouldn’t bother me one bit.
