Thanks JC

You gave us 8 great years! Another in a long line of great Eskimo middle linebackers. Good luck in all your future endeavors!

And a class act, as well. Met him in person once; terrific fellow.

Agreed.
After a bit of time away I suspect he will be coaching. He seems to be a natural for that role.

An undersized overachiever, very respected, personable and got the most out of his game.

Now he’s a linebacker coach for the Stamps! Oh, the horror! >:(

Well too bad the Esks didn’t find a place for him. Guess the Stamps had fewer coaches already in place.
Oh well. Calgary will be a great place to learn the coaching game. I suspect he will migrate back to E at some time. It probably is good for him to coach players that he wasn’t a part of to get started. Nice to see him still in the CFL. Will be a legit DC candidate somewhere in 5 or so years I suspect.

…yeah, I think it was more a function of the stamps losing Claybrooks and the D coaching spots getting shuffled around allowing a spot to open for JC more than anything…right guy right place right time…
