What an amazing day! Wellwood volunteers, CFL Fans Fight Cancer, Family and friends rallied together selling scarves at the tailgate and in the game breaking a single item sales record at final game Ticats game at Ivor Wynne Stadium. In doing so your generousity helped raise at least $4000 for the Wellwood Cancer Resource Centre in Hamilton!
We had a guardian angel, it was my Mom’s birthday yesterday, I believe she was sending people our way!
Thankyou to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats for generousity and enabling CFL Fans Fight Cancer (CFLFFC) and Wellwood to fundraise at the games. Most importantly thank you to all of you, the Ticats fan community, your Ticat passion, generousity and genuine concern for your fellow Hamiltonians well being helped CFLFFC raise thousands for the Wellwood programs over the past 5 years.
I’m not sure what we’re going to do next year but whatever it is we’ll try to make it cool,fun and helping!
