Thank you Argos

I just wanted to say thanks for Arland Bruce. You made our team an contender.

Bruce, absolutely rocked tonight. He has exceeded all my expectations coming to the Cats!!! Even the TD celebrations were a touch of class!!!

He's a beast, and is one of the best in the CFL. Our hand was forced, and we did what we had to do.

I thought it was a bad move and said so. Said the guy was a number of things, mostly not complimentary on the character front. Said he had something to prove before he's get my support. Said zero celebrations were in order. Well he has done that. When he finally celebrated it was that of joy not boasting. I am pretty much converted.

Same here. He’s showing some class as well as his great talent. I can’t ask for more.

Arland Bruce was always the toughest Argo to defend against and he got many an Argo quarterback out of a jam with a big catch. It's a welcome change to have him in Hamilton fulfilling that role for the Ticats. Thanks, Arland!

There is no "I" in team, but there is an "I" in win. Allowing your playmakers to play within a team concept is a balancing act for any coach and Marcel and his staff is doing this beautifully! Showing confidence in ALL your talent to make plays -- Tafralis as the key example -- is the hallmark of a winning coach who is not micromanaging his team to death.

Remember Taaffe? LMAO

Arland Bruce has bought into what Marcel is doing here and that is one big indication we're heading in the right direction! He is emerging as a team leader in a locker room with veteran leadership. That accountability is translating into competitiveness and excitement every week.

Oski Wee Wee,

There is no way anyone that was critical of AB3 can be now. I always thought 2 give the man a clean slate and see how he performs - and he consistently "showed and proved". He is player that you love to have on your team or you hate to have to play against - i hope he stays in Hamilton beyond this season + more..

The one thing I never understood was why would the Argo's trade him 2 Hamilton?? He's all-star calibre player - I would've definetly sent him out west and not to a Eastern team, and especially not to my arch-nemesis.They gave us there most dangerous player on Offence, it baffles me...

Likewise. I wasn’t prepared to jump on the AB bandwagon. He has since proven his worth. Big thumbs up AB3

I have always been a fan of his.....keep in mind, in order to ever be considered a me-first, hot dogging superstar....you first need to be a superstar......
Lots of guys would be the same way if they were as good!

I think MB has given him a leadership role and he has embraced it. He seems to feel it is "his" team and he is taking them with him and showing them how it's done....he is a superstar with something to prove and that is a great combination.

Aye, he’s shown a lot of class since coming over from the Argos, toned down, respectful TD celebrations, saying no comment when he’s pissed, intelligent comments when winning, and an attitude of fun without being crass. I honestly didn’t think he would win me over so soon…

And Arland Bruce III has 3 big I’s in his name, so… um… not sure where I was going with that.

x3

I couldn’t be happier with his performance both on and off the field and I thought of “Coach” Andrus with a grin last night lol.

I was worried he would come in and be a disruptive influence. Glad I was wrong!

AB3 was actually a pretty good soldier in Toronto too. If they had a problem with him, Andrus and Rita should've dealt with it instead of getting rid of their best player in a fit of "I'll show him". Sometimes, the great players march to their own drummers and that's what sets them apart. Andrus and Rita are both idiots.

An Argo-Cat fan

Bruce is amazing and I think he's warmed up to these fans too. Was awesome, after the game Carly Agro began to interview Bruce on the Tigervision and the whole stadium just roared BRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! You could see he loved it

Keep up the great work Bruce! Hamilton loves ya :rockin:

Absolutely Argos and Toronto, merci beaucoup, you will regret this one my friends!

I was all for the move when the Cats got him. I've never been one to care much about how a player acts just as long as it isn't detrimental to the team. My favorite two WR's have been Bruce and Cope for years, except when they played the Cats (lol). So, when we got him I was excited, we'd finally gotten ourselves a top talent WR, which we haven't had in a while. And he's shown every bit of that talent since coming to the Hammer. That would have been enough to make me happy, but the way he's acted since coming; classy and even somewhat reserved, hungry to prove himself, a chip on his shoulder... I gained a lot of respect for him.

How long do we have him, anyways? I can't remember his contract length.

He’s signed through 2011 – two years plus a team option.

Oski Wee Wee,

Russ

Sweet. So, we’ll have him a while then. Good. Now we just need to find a consistent QB… Preferably one that is taller then 5’10 (sorry stubby, a.k.a Kevin Glenn… I just don’t trust short QB’s)
