Team Grades Powered by PFF: Which units led their teams in Week 4?

TORONTO — It’s already Week 5, which means that by now we can start picking out which units are excelling at their jobs and which ones are not. However, it’s also early enough in the season for the ones that aren’t to turn it around and start assorting their dominance over the league.

“The Bombers were able to establish their ground game under tough conditions at IG Field against the Als.” They didn’t play at IG field. They were in Montreal.

Our ground game owed everything to our offensive line’s ability to easily blow holes in the smallest defensive front 7 in the CFL. Brady O can hardly wait until he faces Montreal’s undersized unit again at the end of August. On the other side of the ball our aging rushers looked a lot better going up against that mediocre front 5 protecting Cody Fajardo. It was a good thing for us that Al’s management didn’t believe that they needed to control the trenches.

Please don’t come to your senses anytime soon Danny Maciocia.
